ABOUT

Hi, My name is Laura, I’m currently a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified Personal Trainer, Wellness Advocate for doTerra Essential Oils and Licensed Esthetician in Dallas, TX, and I’m passionate about what I do because I get to help people like you feel better and live healthier lives. I have taken a variety of holistic courses, and I continue to take classes in order to stay current in my field. I am constantly reading about the latest in health news, foods and natural remedies as it is somewhat of an obsession of mine and a key component in my life. I am always trying new recipes and experimenting with new variations of smoothies and juicing in order to get the most out of my diet. And, even though I try to make everything as healthy as possible, I believe it’s okay to treat yourself to some homemade chocolate cake from time-to-time!

Whether you’re prepping for tomorrow’s big meeting, navigating your way through five o’clock traffic, or simply trying to get your kids to brush their teeth, it can be difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle while contending with the constant needs of everyday life. However, there are some simple things we can easily modify in our day-to-day routine that can have a significant impact on our energy and overall health.

Massage. Massage offers safe, nurturing touch that benefits your body, soul, and spirit. After a one hour session you will feel strengthened, renewed, and relaxed but energized.

Essential Oils. Essential Oils can help with a variety of health issues such as allergies, stress, anxiety, muscle aches, skin conditions PMS, menopause and depression just to name a few, without toxic chemicals being added to your body.

Nutrition. Since I was young, I always made it a point to eat healthy, and I have seen a positive correlation between my dietary intake and my physical well-being as I continue to age. I strongly believe that eating a natural well-balanced diet can dramatically improve your mood and physical health. Nature designed us to be able to easily digest and metabolize naturally grown food products like fruits and vegetables, and that is why it is important to avoid processed foods, even if it’s convenient, because they’re loaded with excess salt, sugar, and fats that can be difficult for your body to process. In the Recipes section I’ve included some of my favorite dishes to either add to your recipe arsenal, or to help you get started in the right direction of healthier eating.

Exercise. I exercise and stretch regularly to keep in shape, stay healthy and improve my energy and quality of life.   Regular exercise is beneficial to both your body and mind when done correctly.  Please remember, to always consult your physician before you to engage in any new physical activities, exercise programs or if you suffer from any medical conditions or injuries.
